Foresight Wiki portals: Clarifications · Narratives · Practices · Repository

The Narratives Portal

Articles from the portal Narratives present case studies of Foresight exercises. Such an article would typically include internal links to articles from the portal Clarifications, when the narrative of the Foresight exercise uses a concept that is the topic of an article from that portal, and internal links to articles from the portal Practices, for each formal Foresight method mentioned in the narrative. Introducing a new article in the portal Narratives implies that new segments will be added to articles from the portal Practices. This is a mandatory task for the narrative’s author.

It was commissioned by BMBF – the German Ministry for Research and Education with the following official objectives: (1) Identification of new focuses in research and technology; (2) Designation of areas for cross-cutting activities; (3) Exploration of fields for strategic partnerships; (4) Derivation of priority activity lines for R&D policy. The project was carried out by two Fraunhofer Institutes: The Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO). (more...)
